The Community Support Grant Program supports the financial needs of local youth groups and school organizations and clubs by providing funding for projects and programs benefiting the Pittsburgh area.

Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible organizations operating within 3 miles of any Pittsburgh or Erie area location. Applications must include a written proposal that includes the following:

The organization's background and mission

A brief description of the program or project for which you are seeking funding

Who the program or project serves and why it is important

Time period of the program or project

Amount requested - detailed description of how the funds requested would be spent
eligible organizations:

Preschools, K-12 public schools, community colleges, state colleges or universities

Community-based youth athletic associations

School affiliated organizations may apply for a "grant" for general organization/team sponsorship.
Not Eligible:

Individual athletic sponsorship, medical expenses or other personal/individual use

Events, including fundraising events, such as golf outings

Organizations with controversial or political affiliations

Athletic teams without community or school affiliation

Organizations fundraising on behalf of a non-profit (we prefer to support organizations directly)
